In Middletown, at 11:14 PM, two cars accidents happen at the same time, affecting the lives of five different groups of people. A drunken driver hits a man in a lonely road near a bridge; three young men hits a woman with a van, one of the passenger has a severed penis while another man on the road shoots them; a young man robs a convenience store, with the support of the clerk; a man finds a body in a cemetery and gets rid off it; and a young woman pretending to be pregnant tries to raise money for an abortion. Rykker is an intergalactic warrior trapped on Earth, destined to fight a gang of ruthless aliens known as The Syndicate. The syndicate is an alien fifth column plotting to take over the world. The film opens with a spectacular highway chase, as Rykker liquidates several syndicate agents. Saylon is a top syndicate leader who comes from outer space and crash-lands on Earth. Isis is the sexy and ruthless leader of the syndicate on Earth. While launching a robbery spree to steal the spare parts necessary to build the portal, Isis becomes hell bent on destroying Rykker and clearing the way for Saylon's master plan. Julie is a fifteen year old who's family is murdered During the hijacking of a truck carrying material for the portal. Julie left totally alone in the world, Seeks vengeance on the killers. Rykker also seeks to find them. He must stop them before they complete the portal and flood the world with alien scum. Julie and Rykker are thrown together by tragic circumstance. They hook up - actually, she follows him against his will; he tries and tries to ditch her, but she keeps popping up, even saving his life at one point - and embark on a cross country journey, with Isis and an army of syndicate killers in hot pursuit. The final showdown, inside a nuclear reactor, is a balls to the wall action climax, as Rykker and Julie battle Isis, Saylon and their army of killers, and try to prevent the portal from opening a rein of destruction upon Earth.

The story begins in 1957 in the star-filled skies above California's Mojave Desert. It is a special night for noted astronomer Ted Lewis, who is preparing a special dinner for his beautiful, adoring wife Lana to celebrate their wedding anniversary. In another part of town, Tammy, a waitress at small local diner with big plans for the future, looks out her window and is excited to see a shooting star, which she takes as a good sign for her dreams. But, what Dr. Lewis and Tammy assume is a shooting star, is really an alien spaceship. The fiery ball hurtles toward earth and crash-lands on a butte in the desert. The only witnesses are teens Dick and Penny who are necking in a nearby lover's lane. A tall, metallic alien named Urp emerges from the craft unharmed, alarmed to discover that the monstrous Ghota, who was also on board, has escaped. The menacing one-eyed creature's unquenchable appetite could mean the end of civilization as we know it. Urp is the only one who knows how to stop the hideous extra-terrestrial, but to do so he has to take over the body of Dr. Lewis and enlist the aid of Tammy, the only human in town willing to believe and trust in his mission. The local police - including Chief Dawson and Officer Vern - are confirmed skeptics and offer little help. Together, Urp and Tammy must hunt down the Ghota and neutralize it before it consumes all the local inhabitants and uses the human fuel to multiply and conquer the world!

An ex-con returns to his rural Ontario roots and outwits a corrupt and wealthy thoroughbred owner trying to take over a slew of local farms. Determined to stay out of trouble, Ray heads to the farm of his old friend Pete Culpepper, a crusty Texas cowboy who trains losing racehorses and whose debts are growing faster than his corn. Sonny Stanton, gambling addict and spoiled heir to a thoroughbred dynasty, is in the process of buying up an entire concession of farmland to build a casino and golfing resort, and the only one brave enough to stand in the way of Sonny is Etta Parr, Ray's old flame, who might be willing to forgive Ray if it wasn't for her pride and common sense. The situation is a minefield, one Ray is determined to avoid. He hooks up with Chrissie, a sexy, sassy and talented jockey and steers clear of Sonny. But when a ten-million-dollar thoroughbred goes missing from the Stanton Stables, Sonny pushes things too far and forces the sale of the community's remaining farms. Ray reacts by coming up with a plan to stop Sonny in his tracks and right a few wrongs in the process. The scheme is unlikely and audacious; the players are as unpredictable as nitroglycerin.
